WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN RF ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST / PRODUCTION ENGINEER
Do you want to work for an international company and provide the technical support required to establish and sustain the manufacture of Global Invacom’s products, at any of the company’s or it’s partners’ manufacturing facilities worldwide?
Global Invacom Group is made up of a number of companies that create the complete solution for satellite communications through the development and making of antennas, electronics for transmitting, receiving and distribution of signals, mounts and mechanisms for positioning and tracking signals and waveguides.
We have a unique opportunity, this role could be termed a “production engineer”, however it differs from a traditional production engineer in certain respects such as:
You will provide the provision of technical support as required in order to ensure continuity of production at the manufacturing facility.
You will establish the production of new models and product variants. You will transfer the production of existing models from other facilities and also ensure the manufacturing documentation provided to the factory is complete and accurate, including writing new assembly and test instructions.
You will set-up and support the RF Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
The role is diverse, and in addition to the above may from time to time require involvement with any aspect of manufacturing, anything from component specification through to selection of packaging materials.
You will have the ability to automate testing for a manufacturing environment – preferably through using Labview.
Ideally you will have experience in a Volume Manufacturing setting in a production support role and experience of New Product introduction/Project Management/Continuous Improvement.
