Global Invacom has a long history of providing the government and defence market with innovative, mission-critical satellite ground equipment for tactical and battlefield communications, fixed satcoms networks, and for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) needs.    

Global Invacom provides a range of satellite ground solutions designed for the unique and challenging defence environment, that can be used across multiple orbits and multiple bands, including L, S, C, X, Ku, and Ka-bands. We provide military-band transceivers and military-band antenna systems with motorised capability for greater versatility and flexibility.  We manufacture and supply complete systems with motorised antennas, as well motorised components such as reflectors and feed horns that come with motorisation kits and controller. 

All terminals and key systems are manufactured in the UK, with strict parts and process controls and leveraging the extensive RF units and mechanical subsystems produced within the Global Invacom Group. 

Tactical and Theatre Satcom 

Our Smart Terminal range features integrated, man-portable satcoms terminals that can be set up and operational in minutes. Leveraging our reputation for robust and highly reliable systems, these multi-orbit, multi-band terminals feature precise tracking and a wide range of band and RF options. 

Smart terminals are packed in ruggedized transport containers are available in a range of apertures under 2.4m, covering single or multiband combinations of C-, X-, Ku- and Ka-band.   

Satcoms Gateways 

For higher throughput fixed and relocatable links, Global Invacom’s Gateway antennas provide modular, easily re-configurable single or multi-band platforms, with the same history of efficient tracking and high throughput, coupled with ease of operation and unparalleled reliability. 

Our multi-orbit, multi-band Gateways are designed for ease of installation on fixed pads, frames, or suitable rooftop locations. The are available in several apertures, configured as single or multiband combinations of C-, X-, Ku- and Ka-band.  

Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) 

ISR provides vital situational awareness of conditions on the ground, in the air, at sea, and in space. Observation Satellites are essential to securing mission-critical data across multiple domains in real-time, helping to inform rapid decision-making and operations. As critically, ISR ground antennas enable monitoring of third-party satellites, to assess the type and frequency of interactions. 

Our TerraLink ISR platform provides flexibility and capabilities to adapt to both current and evolving requirements, with proven performance and reliability to ensure that data capture is reliable, accurate and fast. TerraLInk is designed to ensure links can be easily established across all orbits, and the antenna quickly retasked for multiple passes. 

TerraLink ISR is a modular platform, readily configurable as multi-feed systems; these feature multiple feed horns for different bands, utilizing Global Invacom’s motorized ‘Revolver Feed’, that can remotely and securely switch to a different feed horn as required when a different band is needed. 

Subsystems and Units 

One of Global Invacom’s advantages in providing and supporting complete terminals lies in the range of RF and mechanical units produced in the Group. We have an extensive history developing and manufacturing RF amplifiers and LNAs, for volume applications as well as bespoke solutions. 

We are a key supplier of actuators for both in-house and other applications, with a reputation for reliability and accuracy over operational lifetimes. 

Our range of feed and waveguide options allow us to provide a broad range of single and multi-band configurations, across different uplink power levels. 

For site integration, our industry-leading Foxcom range enables secure, high-speed links across a site and between facilities.  

As with our antenna and terminal solutions, our units and products are designed to meet or exceed stringent Defence standards, including applicable NATO STANAG, MIL-STD, and RED requirements.
