Elekta Synergy used for Radiation Therapy

Our Waveguides are used for a variety of purposes and one of the most important is those used in a linear accelerator which provides focussed beams of radiation for the treatment of cancer.

We work with healthcare company Elekta to provide components that focus electrons to travel at almost the speed of light to create a fine beam of x-rays the size of a pin head which is targeted to kill tumour cells in patients.
