For prime focus antennas with a fixed horn we have developed a compact C, Ku & Ka band Polarization Motorization incorporating the original Horn Design combined with a rotary joint and the known Universal Polarization motorization. It can be used with every Prodelin Brand or other Prime Focus Antenna.
Due to the high adaptable design the motorization can be used for any Prime Focus antenna system on the market and due to the different sizing of the motorization any Horn and OMT of any Band can be attached be it C band, Ku band or even Ka band.
The motorized feed is driven by a strong DC Motor which itself is controlled by an intelligent Motor Control Unit (iMCU) allowing the unit to move with a maximum speed of up to 5° per second. The iMCU allows the adjustment of acceleration & deceleration rates and the top speed minimize backlash and to optimize pointing. The iMCU is connected to our advanced APS700 Antenna control unit enabling the full Control of the feed motorization.
